It has been awhile since I posted anything new. I've been busy writing the third book in my sub-series 'Operation Stargate'. the seventh book in 'The Stonewall Chronicles'.
This new novel is called 'The Aregon files' and I am at 93,000 words now Time to wrap it up. There is still much I wanted to write and I have a feeling, I will write another book that will feature the same characters from The Aregon Files and continue with this adventure.
The Aregon Files takes place on a planet called 'Aregon'. There are rumors that there is a star-portal on Aregon. The problem is that Aregon lies near the Crow Empire. Aregon is a unique planet. There are many different species living on it. The planet is controlled by the Crows and they don't allow anyone to visit without their permission.
As it happens, a research team from Earth has disappeared. This provides the Solar Union with a perfect cover to send in a team to investigate if the rumor of a star-portal is true. They send a team of three agents to Aregon. Head of the task-force is Ronald Madigan, a colonel with the Solar Union Special Forces, Captain Lea Belancher of Solar Intelligence Service, and Anton Moretti, a major with Scouts Special Forces. Madigan is not happy with the members of his team. He would have preferred to make his own choices. However, if the mission is to succeed, they have to set aside their differences and work together. Their lives depend on it.
Humans are not the only ones interested in the portal. The Spiders, the Sleer, and other races are also sending in teams.
Since Aregon is not considered a high tech planet, nobody is allowed to bring in sophisticated craft. The team must travel across deserts, swamps, and jungles on the back of Keoy, scaly, long-necked beasts with a nasty temperament. They have to deal with bandits and a hostile environment.
